Green Day have two live touring members. Kevin Preston has been the touring guitarist since 2019, while Jason White has served as the second guitarist since 1999. This year, Coley O’Toole joined the band on keyboards as a temporary replacement for Jason Freese, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Freese is expected to return in a few weeks.
In February 2020, John Frusciante reunited with the Red Hot Chili Peppers for his first performance with the band in over a decade.
