Johnny Depp Caught Sleeping In Trial Photo

The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard began on Tuesday with the selection for a jury that took place the day prior. The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’s legal team is currently accusing Heard of fabricating claims of domestic violence against him to further her entertainment career. Furthermore, Depp is suing Heard for fifty-million dollars. On the other side of the fence, Heard is proclaiming that the allegations against her ex-husband are true and has a right to express how she feels.

Amber Heard would first gain mainstream popularity for her role in the popular film Seth Rogan film Pineapple Express. She would later join the DC Extended Universe as queen Mera in Justice League, Aquaman, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Depp would sue her over an op-ed piece written in The Washington Post in 2018. Heard named herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

In the courtroom today however Depp allegedly appeared to be sleepy-eyed as one user on the social media platform, Twitter, posted a screenshot from the trial of the Sweeney Todd star looking all drowsy. This can be seen below.
In other news revolving around Johnny Depp, one man who has no issue defending the A-list actor is acclaimed and beloved director John Waters. During a recent conversation with the New York Times, Waters would lambast cancel culture and have this to say about the Johnny Depp case as well.

“It’s a good thing we are not going retroactive here because practically every artist would be canceled. In addition, Waters would also add, “I’m not going to go through each person who’s been canceled and say what I think, but I never saw Johnny Depp act negatively to a woman in my entire life — and I did drugs and got drunk with him.”
