Dj Nocturna Interview with AMMO, Singer, Songwriter, A Cold War City Dj Nocturna of The Queen of Wands

AMMO is a rock and roll photographer, producer, musician and songwriter. Currently based between Los Angeles and New York City, she released in 2021 the single “Rose + Crown” with a video for the title track, directed by AMMO and co-filmed by Christopher Slater. The B-side to the single is called “Total Recall,” which is a tribute to Adrian Borland of the influential UK band, the Sound. It is the first charitable compilation on the Dun Altar label, aimed at increasing awareness to the mental health conditions plaguing millions today which Borland suffered from schizoaffective disorder and severe depression.

She has produced a feature film, co-founded PLAG Presents, a platform for women musicians and the LGBTQ community voices to be heard.

More recently, she released a haunting dark ethereal spellbinding song called “A Cold War City” in December 2021 via Mourning sun Records which was Co-produced and recorded by Alex Posell and mixed and mastered by Robert Duncan IV. Tune in this Saturday !
