Ted Nugent recently broke his silence on the response of Joan Jett about him. Jett in a feature interview with NME, had responded to the outspoken conservative rocker’s assessment of her musical skills, when Nugent had claimed she didn’t belong on a list of the best rock guitarists. She on to elaborate, alluding to a story of Nugent’s supposed efforts to evade the Vietnam War draft as she made her case against Nugent’s “tough guy” persona.
